Rezepte können entdeckt und kombiniert werden, um einzigartige Gerichte zu kreieren.[4]

Du kannst Items die kochst mitnehmen und falls du möchtest, diese anschließend in einem Geschäft platzieren.[1]Steven Sharif

Handwerklich hergestellte Möbel können Boni enthalten, die von der Qualität der Möbel abhängen.[5][6]

Food and drink in Ashes of Creation will provide benefits (buffs) based on the type of consumable.[4]

  • The higher quality the food item, the greater duration of the buffs.[9][5]
    • Buffs from some very high quality consumables may persist through death.[10]
  • The quality and duration of food buffs can be increased through the furniture system.[9][5]
    For example if you have a completed dish and you process that dish inside of let's say an oven that has to be constructed and placed within a certain grade home, you can increase the effects.[5]Steven Sharif
  • Food buffs can also be proximity-based, such as with tavern consumables.[5]
  • Consumable items will not degrade over time.[9]
  • Ashes of Creation is not a survival game. Characters will not need to eat food to stay alive.[4]
